We’ve partnered with local, sustainable native kawakawa and horopito foragers to make our session mead pop. Though distinctly different, both are known colloquially as ‘pepper tree’ and have long been used in traditional medicines and tinctures. Growing wild in the sprawling Ruapehu forests, kawakawa’s heart-shaped leaves and horopito’s red-speckled leaves are easily identifiable. Our Native Botanicals Session Mead mirrors their natural beauty. Brewed with our multi-floral mānuka bush honey fermented in Ruapehu mountain water for an all-natural, healthier beverage.
